Kara Scott

In an effort to get more pictures of attractive women on my website, today I will tell you about Kara Scott.

This poker beauty might have gone under the radar of some of my American visitors, but the Europeans and Canadians will know her.

Kara Scott was born in northern Alberta, Canada, and moved to the UK in 1999. In January of 2009 she joined team Party Poker. You will see her picture on the site when you use your PartyPoker Bonus Code to start playing.

Kara Scott is the sports presenter for the Five martial arts show “Now is the Time: Night of Combat”. She has actually trained in Muay Thai (a martial art from Thailand) when she lived in Canada.

In 2005 she hosted the first televised Backgammon series, High Stakes Backgammon, and also the 2006 World Series of Backgammon in 2006.

Kara Scott was one of the main hosts for the four hour daily poker show, “Poker Night Live”. She became an industry voice writing a weekly column for Flush magazine, and having articles published in “poker Player Magazine” as well. Kara Scott was one of the faces of Sky Poker, a dedicated poker channel based in London, and half of the “On The Rail” podcast.

At the 2008 WSOP, Scott finished in 104th place out of a field of 6,844 players, earning $41,816. This and her recent win at Partypoker Sports Stars Challenge III, prompted her to quit her position at Sky Poker, and play poker professionally.

Her professional poker career took of in grand fashion when she pulled second place in in the 2009 Irish Open in Dublin, Ireland. The prize for that finish was over $400,000. At the 2009 WSOP Kara Scott took 238th place, making her the second woman ever to cash in back to back WSOP main events.

After all this success, Party Poker was happy to get her signed to the team. Kara Scott has not been cashing in a lot of tournaments, but I would sign up for any poker room she asked me to. I can no longer play at PartyPoker, because I am an American, but someday.
